Uptime – In a world where convenience is everything and consumers aren’t used to waiting, it is vital to ensure that a website, for example, is functional at all times; site downtime could lead to customers moving on to competitors. Dedicated hosting allows for high performance and stability to ensure that websites and other business functions are operational virtually 100% of the time (usually upwards of 99.4%). To this end, providers should offer server monitoring and back-up facilities alongside support services (described below) to keep functions running as seamlessly as possible.

What I would do is setup the tower so it plays with the best possible performance. As nobody will be playing on it you can pull all the graphics down to their minimums. I'd set it up with a password initially until you can create a small central base with a bed where the main character will respawn and then make it player proof (dbl steel walls and off the ground).

FREE in WHM, AutoSSL is cPanel’s answer to the annoying problem of SSL renewals and installation. Some Certificate Authorities utilize short expiration dates on their certs (for security purposes it’s better to limit exposure if your key is compromised) requiring admins to frequently renew their certs manually to avoid a coverage lapse. You can use this tool to issue Domain Validated SSLs through Comodo at no additional charge. If you prefer a different type of SSL you can purchase a 3rd party SSL and install it directly or use our Launch Assist service and allow our System Admins to install it for you. Server Name Indication (SNI) is enabled by default to allow a single IP to support multiple SSLs.
The second bandwidth measurement is unmetered service where providers cap or control the “top line” speed for a server. Top line speed in unmetered bandwidth is the total Mbit/s allocated to the server and configured on the switch level. For example, if you purchase 10 Mbit/s unmetered bandwidth, the top line speed would be 10 Mbit/s. 10 Mbit/s would result in the provider controlling the speed transfers take place while providing the ability for the dedicated server owner to not be charged with bandwidth overages. Unmetered bandwidth services usually incur an additional charge.
By joining Liquid Web's Reseller Hosting Program, you'll be easily able to manage your hosting through the WHMCS Plugin. Other software applications available are specialized web hosting specific programs called control panels. Control panel software is an all inclusive set of software applications, server applications, and automation tools that can be installed on a dedicated server. Control panels include integration into web servers, database applications, programming languages, application deployment, server administration tasks, and include the ability to automate tasks via a web based front end.
We regularly examine customer bandwidth and disk space utilization data in a series of statistical analyses and use the results to define "normal". Although these tests vary from month to month, one thing remains constant: 99.95% of our customers fall into "normal" range. If your account's bandwidth or disk space utilization causes any concern, you will receive an email asking you to reduce usage. We strive to provide at least 48 hours notice to allow customers to make adjustments before we take any corrective action.
Can that be blamed on the server host? If you have a dedicated server, you're responsible to keep your software up-to-date and protect it. The company is only responsible for hardware faults.
They don't pack a line firewall without hefty (£20/m + £150 setup costs) Though, I personally think the problem was Fizzadar having RD passwords in his email, which he used the same password for as the password he used when he registered to RoleNation.

Gee, what an astute observation. A game that's been optimised more because it's core features have been completed more fully than Squad (in large part because it's not close to what Squad is trying to do in terms of replication), that has voxel-based terrain deformation can more efficiently use more threads and spread load better across them, while still being a highly demanding game server performance-wise? GEE WHILLICKERS!
Oh, and let's not forget what else you get for paying a little less, with most game hosting providers - abysmal service, avoidance of the truth and attempts to shift blame when confronted with performance issues while still taking in money, then refusing refunds when all's said and done and people learn their lesson, and cancel their service with you.

Ideally recommended for advanced users, we allow you to administer your Dedicated Server Plans via secure command line access. You can do this easily and completely through our control panels. If you prefer a lower level access option, we also offer an optional Remote KVM to get lights-out management (LOM) capabilities with your server. For packages supporting unmetered disk space or data transfer (bandwidth), we do not have defined limitations. These resources are "unmetered", meaning you are not billed according to the amount of disk space or bandwidth used. While of course these resources are not infinite, we believe our customers should have all the resources necessary to build an online presence and 99.95% of customers will have more than enough disk space and bandwidth to meet their needs.
Support for any of these operating systems typically depends on the level of management offered with a particular dedicated server plan. Operating system support may include updates to the core system in order to acquire the latest security fixes, patches, and system-wide vulnerability resolutions. Updates to core operating systems include kernel upgrades, service packs, application updates, and security patches that keep the server secure and safe. Operating system updates and support relieves the burden of server management from the dedicated server owner.
